Photograph of the Year
Prize: An Apple iPad 2 for the winning student

Be in with a chance to have your photograph selected as the “Griffith Photo of the Year Competition”. Simply have a look through the photographs you have taken this year, choose a couple that you are particularly proud of. Perhaps you got a lot of positive  comments about a particular photograph or have been told you have a good eye for photography…The photographs can be of anything, they can be humerous or serious. You might have photographs that represent you or your life. They can be portraits, fashion, documentary, landscape, architectural…
it’s completely open.

To be in with a chance of having your photograph selected, here’s what you need to do:

  • Save your photograph in the format of a JPEG and save it as your “firstname.surname”
  • Put “Photo of the Year Entry” into the subject line of the email
  • Complete an official entry form and include it with your photograph. You can download an entry form here. In the ‘Description of entry’ area of the form, write a few lines about the photographs you are submitting. Where and when did you take the photograph, what is the background to the photograph or perhaps there’s a funny story to accompany the shot. If the photo has a title do include that also.
